Evil Under the Sun - Agatha Christie Ugh... Having seen and loved almost every Agatha Christie movie, it comes as a major surprise that this book was so brain-numbingly boring to me. The only thing that enabled me to get through to the last page was imagining Peter Ustinov dubbing over Hercule Poirot's lines. I'm guessing that by the time this book came out, her writing had already become a brand and she didn't need to put much effort into actually making it a good read; her fans would devour it if it was written in pig latin. Perhaps an earlier work? Or perhaps not. I think I'll stick to the movies. One star for the book, but one bonus star just because she was so cool in real life.
